The Challenge: Duplicate this tired 1969 Chevy Camaro as a 1/18 scale diecast metal scale model.	Here's the engine from the real car, a 69 Camaro base model straight six.
A view of the interior. Yep, this happens to be a collumn shift "3 on the tree" Camaro with no center console.	Another exterior view showing the rear. Let's get started!
Since all of the available 1/18 scale 69 Camaro diecasts are either SS 396's or Z-28's, a Ertl SS 396 was choosen as the starting point.	Lot's of modifications are going to be needed to the exterior.
The 396 engine will have to go.	Plenty of changes in store for the interior, too.
